High TV 3D has launched in Indonesia as a result of a partnership with Pay TV cable provider First Media. High TV 3D will begin airing in Indonesia via digital satellite from February 21.
“We have succeeded in launching the first High-Definition TV quality programs for the first time to Indonesia homes. And we are proud continuing to be the first to launch HD-3D TV in Indonesia with HighTV 3D that represents another breakthrough service by First Media,” said Hengkie Liwanto, CEO PT Link Net. “With so many households now with HDTVs, people are looking for new ways to enjoy quality entertainment, at home. High TV 3D offers 3D content such as movies, entertainment news, travel programs as well as exclusive dramas. The line-up of content for High TV 3D also includes coverage of exclusive parties, celebrity news and gossip and a number of in-house productions such as reality shows.
