If they have boundaries from the start, then they won’t be able to accomplish anything in this field. You need a lot of persistence, really going out there and making it happen.”

Awards
An Amateurish market can only produce amateur work and amateur judges to hand out awards and accolades to the best of the worst. Reminds me of the song, Crazy on a ship of fools by Robert Plant. Acting like creative whizkids is just not good enough and giving away prizes amongst yourselves is even more lame. Please don't hate me for saying the truth...please dont!

Ranas comment
Rana, your comment is probably the most ridiculosuly ill informed I have ever read. I can tell you now I was the creative director on this project and it was a team of 7 people over 7 months. Do you think the Stadium, Chess set aircraft, Dinosaur, First class suite, buildings, satellites etc all just materialised themselves ??
Maya, Flame and Adobe were all used in this piece of work. If you really don't know what you are talking about you shouldn't really offer up amateurish commments particularly regarding the judging. Sounds like sour grapes to me

Best animation 2011
i would just like to point out that after effects and animation it is not the same, and think that should not be in same category, let alone win the best animation where clearly there is no animation it is after effects.
Hope next year you will have more experienced judges who can tell the difference between the two.
