Live event management training institute EMDI has introduced four new courses for the remainder of the 2009 academic year.
The Dubai-based academy, which is based in Knowledge Village, boasts more than 200 industry members as supporting partners in Dubai and more than 500 in India.
The training modules place a strong emphasis on practical learning, with real-world experience valued over classroom sessions.
The new courses are skewed towards media production in a variety of disciplines. Students can now study for a Diploma in Graphic Design & Visual Communication, Diploma in Disc Jockeying & Music Production, Diploma in Radio Jockeying & Programming or a Certificate in Basic Adobe.
"We're very excited about these new courses. Our approach has proven to be a very successful one, in that the tutors are professionals in their respective fields," said Nowshir Engineer, founder and executive director, EMDI Institute of Media & Communication.
